Fly Type: Attractor Pattern,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: General Europe,
Material List:
Hook: 6 14 such as Partridge Cpt Hamilton.

Silk: Brown or black.

Tail: Golden Pheasant topping.

Body: Flat silver tinsel.

Rib: Fine silver wire.

Hackle: Red game or Greenwells hen + European Blue Jay or sub.

Wing: Hen Ringneck Pheasant centre tail, matched or folded.

Tying Instructions: Reasonably simple tying. With the two hackle, the Jay should be tied in front (eye side) of the hen hackle.
Presentation Tips: Usually a point fly on a three fly cast. Very good imitation for pin fry and also useful for corixa. A brilliant general attractor.
