tied by siestafred
Fly Type: Nymphs,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: Eastern Canada,
Imitation: Mayflies,
Material List:
Hook: #14 Bead Head Hook, Orvis 122J
Thread: 8/0 Brown
Bead: 7/64 Gold
Weight: Lead wire to match the shank diameter
Tail: Turkey Feather Fibers
Body: Mahogany Turkey Biot
Rib: XS Gold Wire, wound in the spaces created by the biot
Thorax: Orange-tinted peacock herl

Tying Instructions: In order to create some width in the body (Hendrickson nymphs are quite 'squat') I tied one piece of lead wire along each side of the shank, and applied Zap-a-Gap to hold it.
