Fly Type: Salmon Flies,
Target Species: Atlantic Salmon,

Material List:
Tag: Gold twist and two turns of bright yellow (or red-orange) silk
Tail: springs of red and yellow swan, Gallina and a topping
Body: yellow (red-orange) silk halfway up, then orange pigs wool
Rib: Gold twist, gold tinsel and black silk floss, side by side. First the twist, then the tinsel, then the silk.
Hackle: Yellow cocks (or red-orange) from the tail forward
Throat: Bustard hackle
Wings: Underwing a pair of Golden Pheasant tippets, tied shortish. Married strips of Bustard and Argus pheasant (the dark small speckled feather); fibres of yellow (red-orange) swan interspersed here and there, over all a topping.
Horns: Blue macaw
Head: black
Tying Instructions: Begin with a hook, tie on the gut eye, or failing that, use a return eye hook... and go from there. Marry the wings and tail seperately, and before hand, speeds things up a bit doing this.
