Tying Instructions: Tie in thread near eye, wind back to hook bend.
Tie in tail of brown hackle fibers
Tie in latex very tightly pointed rearward.
Tie in hackle on the side of the hook.
Advance thread to the eye.
Wrap latex forward around hook overlapping a bit.
Tie off latex (have to be bounded tightly, start making the head a bit). Stretch and trim latex.
Color back with marker(leave bottom latex color)
Wind hackle forward following the creases left by the overlapping of latex. Tie off hackle. Trim. Some people leave the fly unclipped, others like the fly to be trimmed other than the bottom.

To make the fly more durable, apply cement over the back portion, this helps hold down the hackle and will lengthen the life of the fly.
Presentation Tips: Dead drifted through holes or gravel. At times VERY deadly for steelhead.
