Tying Instructions: The glass bead is slipped on the hook. The antenna are tied and thread is built up so the bead wont slip on the hook shank. Thread is clipped. Bead is glued with zap-a-gap to built up thread wraps. Thread is re attached behind bead. Tail is added, then the wire for the body, one colour at a time. An underbody is made with the uni stretch. I left a bare spot at tail just to add colour. The wire is wrapped for body. A small tuft of orange seal's fur dubbing is wrapped right in front of where the wire body ends. The wing case is pre made and preened with orange nail polish. It is tied on then the hackle by the tip. The hackle is then folded, thorax dubbed, then hackle palmer wrapped through. The top fibers of the hackle were trimmed off. I advanced the thread back to about 1/2 of the wing case and made 1 wrap of thread over to divide it. The thread was then advanced under the wing case to just before the bead. The shell case was then tied off, thread was half hitched a few times. The shell case, was then marked with a burgundy marker and coated with S.H. hard as nails
Presentation Tips: as a stone fly/salmon fly nymph
