tied by J Desjardins
Fly Type: Wet,
Target Species: Panfish,
Recommended Region: Northeast US,
Imitation: Caddis Flies,
Material List:
Hook: Nymph 10-16 #14 here
thread: white
Bead: 6/0 Amber Glass Rocalle (silver plated thru hole0
Body: Peacock Herl
Collar: The fluffy base of an Emu feather, Olive was used here. Ostrich Herl would probably work.

Tying Instructions:
To tie, wind a base for the bead and seat it. Tie in 4 -6 pieces of peacock herl & wind wind forward almost to the bead. Add 2 1/2 turns of emu for a collar, tie off and your done.

Presentation Tips: Heres a simple one that worked well for panfish last year. The glass bead gives this fly a slow jigging motion that works well in still water
