Hook: Size 10 -14 Cpt Hamilton or similar.

Silk: Olive

Tail: Bronze Mallard fibres.

Body: 1/4 Golden olive Seals fur, 1/4 brown olive Seals fur, 1/2 dark brown/ olive Seals fur (brown over-dyed dark olive).

Rib: Oval silver.

Hackle: Natural black dyed dark olive.

Wing: Rolled Bronze Mallard.

Tying Instructions: The tail should be 1 1/4 times the length of the body. The dubbing colours should be graduated rather than striped so that the overall effect runs for light at the tail to dark at the head.
Presentation Tips: Middle or top on a three fly cast.
