Tying Instructions: As a bunker. Lay a thread base on the shank. Everything starts Just above the Hook point. The tail and body clumps (yellow/white) of congo hair are tied on with tags clipped and then glued to the shank with zap- a-gap. Except the white part of the body (belly) which is tied on the bottom of the shank and doubled back.
Each clump is tied slightly shorter. The clumps are also trimmed to create a taper to a point on the undersides of the clumps so they lay flat. The wing is tied on shorter and doubled back and glued to the shank. The cheeks are tied on the sides of the shank and glued. The throat is then tied. Before hand three strands of bowth right and left sides of a peacock eye are glued together with flexament. They are tied on above the cheeks and follow the junction of the yellow/white and blue clumps of congo hair. A topping of flashabou is added, a thread head is formed and sealed with black fabric paint.
Eyes are added and the head area is sealed
Presentation Tips: This fly can be dead drifted or fished as a streamer. It is not weighted so a heavy sinking line will get it deeper.
