Butt; At barb, black herl
Ribs; Red stretchy floss and green Kreinik blending filament, # 085

Head; Black herl and white fabric paint as sealant
Tying Instructions: Have several eggnogs, tie up a few for gifts or to put on Christmas tree.
Start by crushing barb, then put hook in vise by the eye, so that hook bend is facing upward and the shank is horizontal. Attach thread at barb add herl butt. then ribs and body. Half hitch thread and clip. Carefully wind the body forward with back to back wraps, moving the ribs out of the way. To about 1 and 1/2 eye spaces back. Re-attach thread and secure body. Spiral wrap stretchy floss rib forward and tie off, then spiral warp the blending filament rib and tie off. Attach herl head and then tie it off. Make a neat thread head and coat with fabric paint to seal.
