Recommended Region: Other,
Imitation: Shrimp/Prawns,
Material List: Ingredient...
Hook : Mustad Big Mouth, Size 4, 2 (You can varies the size of the hook for a bigger size.)
Thread : Danville 6/0 Flat - Prewaxed, or Clear Mono.
Upper Wing : Primarily Bucktail, at this instances, Pink Bucktail.
Body : Purple Sparkle Chenile & Grub body.
Head : Bead Chain Eyes, Nearing to the head is also weighted with 7-8 coils of thin lead wire to give the fly a tipsy action.

Tying Instructions: Tying your own...
1) Preparation starts from the benting of hook. Tie approximately ¾ length thread bedding on the hook shank starting with the hook eye. Also include 7 to 8 rounds of lead wire around the front, secure the lead wire coils.
2) Tie in bead chain eyes & epoxy off at the head. ( I often do this process in bulk. Often tying 10 - 20 flies at one go.)
3) Once the epoxy dries off, you can began the next step. Tie in a uppy body of flash chenile & inside the entire gurb onto hook shank.
4) Then, tie in the buck tail as the fly's upper wing.
5) Whip finish & re-epoxy the rest of the head to complete.

Presentation Tips: This fly is tied for slow retrieval which allows the tail to wriggle arund the sea bed...

Introducing Hatches Magazine

Hatches is an annual publication with a strong devotion to professional writing, beautiful photography and informative articles pertaining to both the artistic and practical aspects of fly tying. Each issue features 13 featured articles that span a massive 96 pages.

I agree with the feedback you have received about Hatches. This is by far the best magazine I have seen that shares the wealth of knowledge without the additional 30 pages of vendor advertisements. I understand they are needed revenue but it is refreshing to see the quality of your articles etc. without having to thumb through all of the ads. I also take three other periodicals that are OK but no where nearly as good as Hatches. I wish you continued success and would like the opportunity to have 3 year subscriptions some time. Thanks again for all of your hard work and excellent presentation in Hatches. Best of luck, I wish you a long life and can't wait until you are recognized as the number one periodical presenting fly fishing knowledge.
