Tying Instructions: After tying on, make 3 wraps of lead wire on the bend half of the shank, then 1 transitional wrap so that the lead wire is to the eye half of the shank, and 1 final wrap of lead wire there. Cover lead wire with thread to hold in place, & move the thread back near the bend. Build the body using chenille. Tie in 2 strands of rubber legs, 1 7/8 inches long for a #10 hook, in the middle of the strands just ahead of the chenille body to make 4 legs. Position the rubber legs using thread wraps until all 4 legs are evenly spaced and projecting away from the shank at nearly a 90 degree angle. Build the head with thread and wrap finish.
