Tying Instructions: Attach the thread and wind to the bend of the hook. tie in one piece of flat mylar tinsel, and then take the thread to relatively near the eye of the hook. Try to make the thread underbody as smooth as possible. Wind the tinsel forward and tie off, trim and excess off. Tie a paired set of relatively large grizzly hen feathers to make the overbody/wing. If the feather are curved, tie them so the feathers curve in toward each other and the hook. Tie in the throat of red marabou. tie in the overwing of 4-6 peacock herls and then tie off using a whip finish, and add head cement if desired. Carefully add adhesive eyes along the feather approximately along the plane of the hook shaft.
