Fly Type: Spey,
Target Species: Atlantic Salmon,
Recommended Region: Eastern Canada,
Material List:
Hook; A.J. spey, Daiichi 2051, 3/0
Thread 17/0 uni for tag, tail, butt , rib and to attach floss body and black 8/0 uni to finnish
Tag; small gold oval uni tinsel
Tail J.C. nails back to back
Butt; Minni herl
Rib; Same as tag 9 wraps over floss only
Under body/body; Black unistretch in a bobbin rear 3/4 of shank and a green turkey craft feather palmered back to back. One side of feather stripped
Throat; Natural speckeled guinea
Wing; black goose slips tied dee style
Tying Instructions: as listed above, the green craft feather, is palmer wrapped forward with back to back turns
Presentation Tips: This is a wild offshoot of the black bear green butt.
