Murray's Roadkill Nymph

tied by deeky
Fly Type: Nymphs,
Target Species: Freshwater Bass,
Recommended Region: Central US,
Imitation: Dragonflies,
Material List:
Hook: Mustad #9672, size 8
Thread: Uni Thread, 8/0 olive
Tail: Olive Zonker Strip
Body: Olive Chenille, Olive hackle
Legs: Olive Rubber Skirt Material
Weight: Barbell Eyes
Tying Instructions: Tie in the eyes and tail. Then tie in two pieces of legging on either side of the hook, giving four legs on each side. Then tie in and wrap chenille and hackle.
Presentation Tips: While I've never seen a dragonfly nymph this large, it is intended to be an oversized morsel that bass and large panfish can't resist. Fish it like a dragonfly nymph.
