Fly Type: Wet,
Target Species: Panfish,
Recommended Region: Central US,
Material List:
Hook: Mustad #3906B, size 12
Thread: Danville Flymaster, 6/0 white; Unit Thread 8/0 black
Tail: White Hungarian Partridge
Body: Pearl Krystal Flash
Ribbing: Gold Oval Tinsel
Wing: Natural Duck Quill
Throat: White Hungarian Partridge
Tying Instructions: Tie in the tail and ribbing. Then take 3 strands of Krystal Flash and fold in half twice. Tie in one end and twist into a rope (I use a hackle pliers to handle it once the end is tied in). Wrap this up the body, tie off, and counter-rib with the gold oval. Tie in the throat and wing as standard wet fly style.
