DSV Breadball

tied by dsaavedra
Fly Type: Miscellaneous,
Target Species: Panfish,
Recommended Region: Northeast US,
Imitation: ,
Material List:
hook: 14 scud

thread: creme

body: coarse, light tan dubbing
Tying Instructions: VERY straight forward. start thread. thickly apply dubbing to the thread. wrap dubbing to form a ball of "bread".
Presentation Tips: A fly i designed to imitate bread, a favorite of the local bluegills. i specifically designed it for the pond i found in the woods. the bluegills there love bread, but its a pain to have to rebait every catch. so out comes the DSV Breadball. just cast it out and let it sit! at first it will float, and will probably float until you catch a fish on it. the only reason it would sink is if the little bluegills nip at it enough to make it sink.
