Tying Instructions: Starting directly above the hook point, tie in tinsel and spiral wrap back to directly above the point of the barb and back to the tie in point.

Tie in the green Uni-stretch and wrap rearwards leaving some of the tinsel exposed and wrap back to tie in point. Tie in red floss and cover half of the green.

Wrap the thread forward a few turns then make a dubbing loop and wrap thread back securing the loop. Tie in the ribbing material and six peacock herl feathers. Advance the tread forward then twist the herl and the thread together to make a herl "rope". Wrap the herl forward and tie down leaving room for the wing and throat. Follow with 5 turns of the ribbing.

Select a sparse bunch of bear hair. Do not stack the fur, you want uneven tips. Measure so that the bear hair ends at the hook bend and tie in keeping all of the hair on top of the hook.

Select a black hackle and tie in a small bunch of hackle barbs as a throat keeping hackle about the length of the peacock body.
