Tying Instructions: Tie in the tag first about two milimeters long at the start of the hook shank leaveing enough to use for the rib. Tie the phesant topping on top of the tag with the tippets ontop of that. Next, tie in the yellow hackle, then dub the seals fur about half way up. Wrap the tinsel to the end of the fur and tie down followed by the hackle in a palmerd style clpping of the rest of the hackle. Tie in the black hackle and the floss. Wrap the floss close to the hook eye leaving space for the wing to tie in. Wrap the tinsel and the hackle to the end of the floss, tie and trim both. After the body is secure cut little bunches of long strips of bucktail and line up all aroud the body in an even fasion. trim two jungle cock eyes to the same size and tie on the oposite sides of the hook shank. Build up a nice black head, whip finish, and cement.
Presentation Tips: It is best used when the fly is is cast up stream, and is then let flow down with the current and then stripped in with short choppy strokes.
