1 5/0 spey hook black or gold
black silk thread (dia is a little larger than 6/0)
gold wire
black Ostrich Herl
lime green floss
red and yellow spey hackles from gold pheasant

Tying Instructions: 1.tie in gold tag material, don't forget to wax silk
2. wrap gold wire 5-10 times as tag
3. add 3-4 winds of herl
4. wrap about 1/2" lime green floss
5. add 2-3 winds herl
6. wrap a yellow spey hackle2 wraps
7. repeat steps 4 and 5
8. wrap a red spey hackle 2 wraps
9. repeat steps 4-8 until body is covered.
10. tie in 3 herl feathers. wrap forward about 1/3"
11. wrap throat hakle with 2 yellow speys and 1 red spey.
12. finish head

Presentation Tips: Fish with a rippling hitch. this pattern has caught a couple real nice salmon
