Hook – Mike Martinek’s Carrie Stevens Rangeley Streamer (Size 4)
Thread – Red UNI-Stretch (used to form part of tag and the underbody)
Butt – Green UNI-Stretch & Red UNI-Stretch
Rib – Fine (32 gauge) Gold Metal Wire
Body – Golden Brown UNI-Floss (Wrapped from eye of hook to the butt and back forming two uniform layers then burnished for even the body)
Underwing – Eight pieces of Peacock Herl (even the tips)
Belly – Ten to Fifteen White Bucktail Hair (even the tips)
Wing – Four Dun Streamer Hackles
Cheeks – Woodcock Flank Feathers
Eyes – Imitation Jungle Cock Eyes
Head – Black UNI-Thread (6/0)
Finish the head with two coats of Black Pro Lak and two coats of Sally Hansen’s Hard-As-Nails nail polish
