Fly Type: Egg/Sac,
Target Species: Steelhead,
Recommended Region: Northeast US,
angora or glo bug yarn. all colors thats steelhead like
Tying Instructions: use thread to match color of spawn.
take 3 strands of glo or angora yarn
(maybe have to split glo yarn in half, its thick)
tie on shank of hook from back to from. use the bodkin to make loops and pinch and wrap to make loops of spawn. after each loop wrap under the yarn and repeat steps. add 3 or 4 loops and half and whip and try to hook a steelie with it!
Presentation Tips: fish like a egg with a float and let it drift.
