Fly Type: Egg/Sac,
Target Species: Steelhead,
Material List*:
Hook: Daiichi 1530 size 12 - 16
Body: Dyed Pearl Diamond Braid
*Materials with links give you direct access to that product at the J. Stockard store.
Tying Instructions: 1. Bring thread to the bend of the hook
2. Tie in the diamond braid. Leave a small amount of material off the rear of the hook.
3. Make a small loop with the braid and secure with a few wraps. Repeat this process up the hook shank. Number of loops depends on hook size. For a size 12 I usually have 5 wraps.
Presentation Tips: This is a very effective great lakes Steelhead fly that can be tied in a wide variety of colors.
