Tying Instructions: Thread conehead to hook eye and then tie in barbell around the first bend. How far around the bend they are determines how high the craw stands. Tie in claws, antenae, eyes, shell back/rib, hackle, and then body, in that order (or something like it).
Presentation Tips: I haven't fished it yet, but the theory is it will stand up on the bottom in a defensive position, as if threatened by the world record bass staring it down. Using a floating or sinktip line, a tug will pull the tail up and drop the head and claws as if in a quick retreat. Use an irregular strip-pause-strip-pause retrieve.
