Tying Instructions: There may be other flies like this, but this is an old fly I've been using for about 20 years or so. I made it mostly for dollies that came up eating eggs from spawning salmon, and also for the occasional steelhead that would hit a free drifting egg.
Presentation Tips: Usually free drifting it on a dry line. Depending on how deep the slot is, will slightly weight the pattern with lead underneath. But want it to gently float with the current
