Tying Instructions: 1. Tie in the painted lead eyes on top of the hook. Leave plently of room to build the head.
2. Take hook out of vise. Pierce the rabbit strip and run it down the bend of the hook. The leather side of the strip should be against the bottom side of the hook with the fur reaching toward the point.
3. Tie in the rabbit strip right at the bend. Be sure to part the hair at the tie in point so that no fur gets trapped.
4. Tie in the ice chenille and bring thread back to the lead eyes.
5. Palmer the chenille to the lead eyes, tie off and trim excess. Advance thread to in front of the lead eyes.
6. Bring the remaining portion of the zonker strip over the chenille and lead eyes. Tie in right in front of the eyes. Secure and trim excess.
