Fly Type: Attractor Pattern, Nymphs, Wet,
Target Species: not available Steelhead, Panfish, Atlantic Salmon, Pacific Salmon, General Salmon, Trout,
Recommended Region: not available Northeast US, Northwest US, Western Canada, Eastern Canada,
Material List:
Hungarian partridge, flexi or latex body material, copper wire ribbing, tungsten bead, 8/0 danville thread color to match, size 8-14 curved caddis or nymph hook (mustad shown in picture), Eztaz or palmer chenille (root beer color shown in pictures)
Tying Instructions: This is my variation of the old BHSH (bead head soft hackle). A great go to fly for finicky, pressured trout or as a dropper fly in your favorite tandem steelhead rig.
My personal favorite is teaming this with a zebra or rojo midge as the point fly.
Tight Lines!
