white deer hair
black deer hair
silver flashabou
webby, grizzly hackles-6

Tying Instructions: First tie on six strands of flashabou to the back of the shank.

Then tie a pair of hackles on each side of the flashabou.

tie in the remaining two hackes and wrap them forward around the thread wraps for the tail.

tie off your thread and tie on deer hair spinning thread.

cut off equal bunches of black and white deer hair that together equal a pencil thickness, and blend together.

tie on and spin like regular deer hair

repeat until the whole shank is covered in deer hair

then cut like the picture or a bass popper cut.

Presentation Tips: blind cast and pop slowly or sight cast to fish
