Hook: no. 10, 12 wet
Thread: black 140 denier
Body: Black wool or dubbing (fuzz it up with velcro or a dubbing needle to resemble legs)
Thorax: Black wool or dubbing
Tail: two black goose biots
Shellback: black goose quill
Beard: Black hen fibers (tied in thickly)

Tying Instructions: First tail, then body and thorax, then shellback, then beard.
Whip finish and laquer.
Presentation Tips: Fish it dead drift or a twitching retrieve.
