Tying Instructions: I buy the pre-cut bluegill poppers, then epoxy them on the hump shank hook, then I paint the solid color with any lettering paint, and hang them to dry over night, dont force the drying process it creates bubbles. This is a very heavy paint. Then I cut a diamond shape out of the onion bag and wrap that around the popper and with my airbrush I dust the silver/black mix to make the 3-D scale effect on the sides of the poppers, then tie in the flash and rubber legs in the back and then tie in saddle hackle right at the butt of the cork body. Usually 4-6 wraps is more than enough, tie this off and your done. Then get a nail and cut the head off and dip the end you cut off in the paint and touch the popper whether you want dots, or eyes where ever you wish. When making the eyes, I come in with a lighter color and a smaller nail and dot inside the first dot.
