Fly Type: Nymphs,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: General Europe,
Imitation: Mayflies,
Material List:
Hook: Grip 12003, #14
Thread: Powersilk 10/0
Tail: PT
Abdomen & thorax cover: PT
Rib: Fine silver wire
Thorax: Hare, dyed olive
Tying Instructions: Slim and simple. No ballast on this one. I like to tie the tail and abdomen from from set of fibres to keep the body slim. The traditional way will work though. Keep the thorax straggly - if you like, tie it in a split-thread loop.
Presentation Tips: Recent success has been on a greased leader - fished barely under the surface. Behind a dry works nicely too.

This little fly rides high - for those fish that aren't nymphing deep or taking emergers.
