Fly Type: Dry,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: General Europe,
Imitation: Mayflies,
Material List:
Hook: TMC100 #16
Thread: Sheer 14/0, tan
Tails: Microfibbets
Abdomen: Wapsi superfine, dun
Thorax: Awesome Possum, amber
Hackle: CDC fibres, in a split thread and then wound as a parachute
Post: TMC Aerowing, tan
Tying Instructions: The CDC fibres are spun ina split thread and then wound around the post. I finish off under the hackle and around the post as I would with a 'usual' parachute hackle.
Presentation Tips: Dead-drift please :) With such a delicate hackle, this will land very gently. Try a parachute or dump cast with lots of slack leader to allow the perfect presentation.
