CDC Olive 'G'

tied by dwiltshire
Fly Type: Dry,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: General Europe,
Imitation: Mayflies,
Material List:
Hook: TMC2489G #16
Thread: 10/0 Powersilk, olive
Abdomen / Rib: Tying Silk
Wing: CDC
Thorax: Rabbit
Tying Instructions: This one is really simple. It won't win you any tying awards, but it'll catch you a few fish.

Flatten the thread as you tie down the hook and spin spin the bobbin to form a rope - then wind up to form the rib. Tie the CDC in by the butts with the tips over the eye. Dub the thread with rabbit and make the thorax. Sweep the CDC back over to form the wing and secure.
Presentation Tips: Upstream and individually is my preference.
