Wing: CDC in split thread loop, olive / brown Tying Instructions: Nothing complicated here. Just keep it simple with the aim to tie everything in with the fewest number of turns of thread. I'm using Sheer 14/0 - which splits nicely.
Catch in the thread and tie in the tails. Bind them down and return thread in open wraps to the thorax region. Dub thread and wind backwards to bend / tails. Remove excess dubbing and winf thread in open turn back though dubbed body for the rib.
Unwind the thread and insert CDC fibres (I used a Petijean Magic Tool). SRe spin and wind the fibres forwards, pulling them back and up as you wind forwards. Trickier on the smaller flies but very effective. Presentation Tips: Upstream and no drag please ;)
