Muddled Glow

tied by dwiltshire
Fly Type: Attractor Pattern,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: General Europe,
Imitation: Caddis Flies,
Material List:
Hook: TMC 102Y #11
Thread: 14/0 Sheer (Sorry, tied at the same time as the Bunsen's Muddler)
Tail: Amber zelon
Rib: Copper wore
Body: Hare's mask
Thorax: Orange SLF
Head: Deer hair, natural
Tying Instructions: Tied in the same method as the earlier 'Bunsen's Muddler'. The only difference being that the SLF was tied in a split thread loop. After this the deer hair is spun in typical fasion and clipped. I like just one batch of hair; you may want more for a bigger muddler head.
Presentation Tips: Top dropper, pulled in a wave.
