When the bugs are small, this pattern covers several possible hatch situations.....midges, BWO's, Tricos, etc.
Presentation Tips: I like across or 1/4 down and swing, with some wiggling and a slow retrieve to imitate an emerging insect. But I think dead drift under an indicator or high sticking would work too.
