Fly Type: Nymphs,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: Central Canada,
Imitation: Dragonflies,
Material List:
Tail/Back 1/2 of Body - Olive Grizzly Marabou
Rib - M. Gold wire twisted with Peacock herl.
Mid Collar - Green Partridge
Front Half of Body - Long dark green dubbing blended with Diamond Dub
Eye - Bead chain (with underbody of lead) or 1/8oz hour glass.
Hook - No. 6 streamer hook
Tying Instructions: Tie in Marabou, short tail, and wrap remainder of quills half way up hook shank.
Twist rib materials together and wrap forward.
Tie in partridge and make two collar wraps.
Tie in eye.
Bring thread back to collar and create dubbing loop.
Spin dubbing and wrap wrap forward making the majority of the mass at the eye.
Whip finish and pick out dubbing to create a full effect.
