Hook: Tiemco 111 #18

Tail: Blue eared pheasant herl tips
Rib: Light Olive thread twist
Body: Blue eared pheasant herl
Hackle: genetic hen dun
Tying Instructions: Attach thread to hook at thorax. Tie in hackle concave side up and out over the hook eye. Move thread back to mid shank tying in hackle stem. Trim remaining hackle stem and tie in a strand of olive thread button twist for ribbing. Move thread to directly above hook point tying in ribbing as you go. Tie in 3 herl using the tips as the tails. Move thread to front of shank. Gently twist and wrap the herl to the front. Then counter rib with the button twist. Lift the hackle 90 degrees to the shank make a couple wraps back, tie in with thread then move thread through the hackle to head and finish.
