The boxes are indeed large. If you're look for a super-thin box, this one probably isn't for you. But it fits perfectly into my Simms bag, and it definitely holds a lot of flies, which is what I need. Mine is holding flies from size 12 up to 24, and doing it well. I'm sure I'll be buying more!
