I wanted to find a useful purpose for all those aftershaft feathers that I used to throw away. Luckily, I was also looking for an unweighted dragonfly nymph pattern as well and the pieces fell into place and this is what resulted. A word of caution, these feathers are EXTREMELY brittle (you can even see me snap one in the video) so handle with care. If you are worried about fish teeth, add a layer of Flexament under the abdomen and rib the feathers as well.
