After a good days fishing, my fritz stinger was properly chewed up, thats when i noticed a gold bead inside the cone, thought that was rather clever... its my prefered method.

Wouldnt that weaken them?

What kind of salmon hooks do you tie one? I have a strong liking for Ken Sawada's, they're strong, sharp... and very nice to look at

So I live in Scotland and I'm fed up with seeing the same old flies knocking around, can anyone recommend a new pattern? Preferably a dark hair wing? Cheers, Stu
