It's a neet trick that can be used in place of a whip finish or to restart broken thread when reduced thread wraps are needed...

JMWA, it is a dubbed head.... Coach, it is to be fished as a dry fly. It has 3 turns of ginger rooster and 1 1/2 turns of pheasant soft-hackle.... but my thanks for your input.... Doug
