  1. Hi,

Sounds like I started something here LOL!!! I just wanted to let everyone know that the work you guys do is fantastic!!!! I also want to thank John from Feathers MC for introducing me here for the eye candy and great education I am gaining from everyone in this art. I am going to try my hand at a few this weekend and see what I come up with. Also I am looking forward to meeting some of you in person in Somerset. I have never seen a 3" fly yet in person just pictures. Gotta love Bud's chain saw LOL!!

    Thanks again!!!!

  2. Thanks everyone!!! I am learning alot while reading through the posts here. I have been wanting to get into this for years now but never really had a source other then books. I recently ordered the dvd set Mike Radencich from John. He also was kind enough to share a personal library of 9 vhs tapes he shipped to me to copy. My problem was I never had anyone around here to watch how they tie the classic's. I am trying to work in going to Jersey for the show, I understand I would see alot and learn a great deal there. I have spent hours reading and watching, also talking to people but I still have not started one yet. John suggested the red rover. I also had suggestions about making some spey flies for the mallard roof. Thanks for helping and I hope everyone enjoys their trip. Sounds like your ready to have a good time. Will there be a video feed on the board here of the tying on Saturday. Not sure how that one works, if so I would like to see it.

    Thanks again,

    Keith
