I've had big bows slap flies down then spin around and hit them under water. This can be nerve racking

I've used both Cat & Dog Hair for years, the soft under coat works great. I've also use horse tail as a sort of a weed guard on dragon nymphs. As for being illegal if any body wants to go thrugh my fly box and then tell me which ones are made with pet hair they can have them.

Any that gets a strike. 99% of my fishing is done with a sinking line. My goto fly has to be Doc Spratley (black). When I go to the dry line it's has to be a Tom Thumb. HaloRail
