Bad pic of a damsel.
Scuds and a Caddis.
My question is what type of Caddis is this? And what does the adult look like.
Thanks
All species were found in Wellman Lake Duck Mountain.

Hey Kale,
Keep up the good work at SFOTF, I really appreciate the time and effort you guys have put in with the web site and the youtube videos.
BTW this is a amazing fly.

Thanks for all the kind words.
does the dubbing all come together in the water or does it keep out like it is in the pic.The dubbing stays nice and buggy in the water.

I never bought anything from these guys, but some guys from my local forum speak very highly of it. Prices look pretty good to.
$4 for S&H is what I heard as well.

Theres only 1 cabelas in Canada and it's a good 23 hours away in another province. And that only cabelas in Canada is crap. They have half a row of fly fishing/ little to none fly tying material.Just some cheap rods. I have found that there are only two fishing chains in Canada that supply material and fly fishing equipment which are "The Fishing Hole" and "Wholesales Sports"
I would rather buy from a fly shop then a chain store.

Gordon's Caddis. Floats high and stays dry on windy days. Or a boatmen. ...... Can you tell I'm a stillwater guy?

A very silver (odd) tiger trout caught using this pattern. Caught by my brother. It look surprise! I don't know why.
Nice flies, they're on my to tie list. Have you try it in other colours? I was thinking of brown or olive wings, more common colours around here.
Thanks for sharing.
Ive used Olive and a light brown before, both produce very well. Of the 3 colours I prefer the black, but it all depends what lake I'm fishing and when I am.

Welcome back. What people do to get a rush. Break in and destroy personal stuff that you can never be replaced.
Welcome back, it sucks to get robbed. Years back it happened to me 4 times in one year, then I got smart and moved.I'm guessing that you lived in Winnipeg. :dunno:
