  1. Very Nice Pattern! Reminds me of the P-Quad!
  2. No kidding.. We got snow but not what we usually get. DAMN El NINO
  3. They should be there by this week some time :yahoo:
  4. Today I got a very confusing E-mail from JStockard. I received an E-mail about an new order which I never ordered. The "new" order ( which I never ordered) is the same as my old one that I ordered 3-4 weeks ago and have received (very pleased). It says that the "new" order is all ready in route. So my question is am I being charged for something I never ordered? Has anyone ever got the same Email 4 weeks later?

  6. Hahaha ... I still haven't tied any for my self yet. lol I'm working on a new version of this fly. Which I think will work wonders.
  7. I'm thinking of starting a Still Water Trout Swap/ contest. The winner would would walk away with a Bob Sheedy top 50 book. http://www.mwflyfishing.net/ffspecialityitems.htm I don't if I will yet...
  8. Very Nice!! Will have to tie some in Hex sizes. Is this your own pattern?
  9. Very Nice I really like this pattern as it could imitate many different things.
  10. 1st off they are 2 amazing vises If I had to choose between and Anvil Atlas and the Griffin Spider, I would choose the Anvil but if I were to choose between the Anvil and the Montana Mongoose (which I have) I would choose the Griffin. The M Mongoose comes with more extras then Anvil. It comes with a bobbin rest, hackle gauge, material clip, pedestal, c-clamp and the supreme bobbin (amazing bobbin).
  11. I use Uni mostly and Danville 0/3 monocord for tying. I like the Uni 0/8 and 0/6 for everything I tie, and the Monocord I use for spinning deer hair and for some small trout flies. You might want to add UTC thread as that one of the major thread companys.
  12. TFO or St Croix preform like a sage but they are half the cost of one. Since we are talking about rods has anyone tried the new sage 99 rod? They look to be a great chronomid rod which would have no trouble casting a big strike indicator.
  13. Freeze and nuke the buggers. Another good idea is to put silica gel beads in it to. It will kill the bugs by drawing all the moisture out of their body's.
  14. It is a very nice vise. The jaw power on them is unbelievable and it has a very smooth rotary. The looks are just an extra. :yahoo:
  15. Pro Lak... my local fly shop has it by the dozens!
  16. A new addition to the fly pattern database has been submitted by Wellman: Chromie Brassie
