  2. not to hijack a thread, but from one new spey tyer to another, pick up john sheweys book, speyflies&dee flies, their history and construction. this book is pretty cheap (compared to other books), about 30$ canadian, and itll save you a whack of time, (and material) Mike

My other half works for Labatts Brewries of Canada in I.T< you have no idea how many jams he has helped me out of...and got me into . im a blue collar guy, heavy equipment mechanic...untill mom got sick, picked up a job as a machinery operator here, and met the girlfriend, who operates another machine at the same place.

  5. you know, i think this says a whole lot about the people who run this site, and the people who visit here, this is the first swap, since ive joined this site in january, that ive heard of something gone wrong..... and theres been a ton of swaps.

  8. http://cgi1.ebay.ca/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?V...item=7144560684 (this is the quickest link i could find), the chickaboo makes a great tail, and the feathers make a great hackle ??, they are also the same color, if you can get them a lite enough color, you can dye em with kool-aid, the blue comes out nice. the only problem is, your limited to sizes, as in smaller, or micro buggers

  11. i didnt tie with it, but me and a buddy were fishing about a month ago, and he found a dirty ball of fur, he tied up some cased cadis with it, and they work....but i think its coyote poop !

  15. i bought the regal knock off from ebay, and im happy with it, except for wrapping tight turns, as in spinning deer hair, your hook will slip, id go with the danvise !, its going to be my next purchase
  16. only in canada can they install winter tires backwards !, and still do, why, and how??, its the same concept as tim hortons.....if thats what you do, as in sling coffee, youd think youd be good at it !

  20. i guess if you get enuff onto your fingers for a lenght of time, anythings a saturant, as in, will be absorbed into your pores, WHMIS, they kinda drill it into your head nowadays
