  1. When fly fishing for anything warmwater, someone will eventually come up to me and say "you know there ain't no trout in there". My favorite reply is to tell them that I'm fishing for tarpon. The subdivision I've lived in since I was two has a pond and for some reason one of my fine upstanding neighbors has decided that I don't live there. This has been going on for about two years. I've showed him my address on my liscence and even offered to walk him to my house but he still doesn't belive I live in the subdivision. He's threatened to call the cops many times and I wish he would call them so they could inform him how much of a goon he is. Cheers, Mike
  2. I did have two jobs for a while. Cheers, Mike
  3. I always get Trouthunter CDC and I haven't been dissapointed yet. I get it from Feather Craft which is luckily about a 20 minute drive from my house. The Marc Petitjean CDC is really good too, but a little pricey for me. Cheers, Mike
  4. I voted brown trout. I'd say that about 7 of the top ten biggest trout I've caught were browns. A brown trout was also the first fish to take me into my backing, so it was an easy choice for me. Although, if there was a "whatever's on the other end of my line" choice it would have been a tough decision. Cheers, Mike
  5. Size 14 CDC and elk probably dun colored. Is usually works as long as the trout are looking up. Cheers, Mike
  6. If I were a bass, I'd eat it. Cheers, Mike
  7. Not exactly what you're looking for, but Feathercraft has furnace in Herbert Miner capes and Metz saddles. The Metz saddles are only 25$ for a whole saddle and 13$ for a half if price is a big issue. www.feather-craft.com Cheers, Mike
  8. I haven't been there in a couple years, but i've always had success with tan and grey scuds size 16 or 18. Brassies and zebra midges in size 18 and smaller are a good idea too. Streamers on a sinking line are a good bet if the water is up, especially sculpin imitations. Good dry fly fishing is pretty rare, but if you find some shallower water a hopper with a scud hung off of it would be worth a shot. Cheers, Mike
