Got mine today. Great set of poppers. -Mike

Flies are on their way back to everyone. Also I started a second thread for the pictures. -Mike

Here's pics from my swap that just wrapped up. I let everyone do as many color combos as they wanted so if there is more than one fly in the pic it's because they did more than one color. Bryon Anderson sniperfreak223 essequamvideri Crackleback eugward grey brook xrayts

Xrayts flies are in and they are awesome. Good job Tim. Thanks for the extra and the tying material. I now have all of the flies in and will sort them and send them back out by the end of the week, probably Thursday. Thanks for participating and even more thanks for everyone making the deadline. Also, would anyone be opposed to me posting pics of the set. -Mike

Bryon's flies came yesterday. Amazing set. You guys are going to love these. Thank you for the extras. -Mike
-
Essequamvideri's mice came today. I'll have to give this one a swim for some night time browns this spring. -Mike
-
Grey brook's muddlers came in the mail yesterday. Nice set, anything that swims will eat these. Thanks so much for the extras. I now have half of the flies in and from the sound of things should be expecting the rest before long as well. -Mike

Eugward's flies came today. Really cool pattern and the chartreuse/black combo works great on smallies around here. -Mike

You just clamp on with the hook in the notch and pack everything back. You can certainly twist and torque and put some serious force into it but it's actually kinda easy to use too much force and accidentally snap the hook if you're twisting it around.

After years of using my hands I finally broke down and bought one about a month ago. I don't think I'm getting any denser bugs with it but it sure makes things easier. I haven't stuck a hook into any of my fingers recently either, which is definitely a plus. -Mike

Giant Altoids tin full of deer hair heading your way. I actually tied 13 different color combinations. They are all buck tail and rubber leg tailed, stacked two color bodies with circle spots on top and a bright colored face all on size 1 B10S's. There's a group photo in the March Flies from the Vise thread. http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?showtopic=77357&page=7 -Mike

Sniper's real flies arrived today. Great flies. They're trimmed very consistently across the set. How are everyone else's coming along? -Mike
-
I mailed mine this morning. I tied some bluegill nymphs with woven ultra chenille abdomens. -Mike
-
Got mine the other day. Incredible set. They would look great framed but there's no way I can resist fishing them. Expect pics of some nice sized bass in a month or two. -Mike

I got a great set of flies from sniper today. Only problem is they're soft hackles. I'm guessing they got switched with a different set of swap flies and a different swapmeister has the hair bugs in his/her mailbox. I guess I'll mail them back. On the off chance I'm in the swap these are for I could mail them in with mine. Let me know what you want me to do. -Mike
-
Just got a fugly packer. This thing's a beast compared to other hair packers. -Mike
-
I'll let you know when they get here. Mike
-
That's cool with me. Mike
-
Awesome. I could see stripping that through the lily pads. You'll get your chance. That's my fly for the swap. -Mike
-
Dahlberg Diver with a twist. -Mike

I should be able to do that. Put me down for some hair. Mike

I might be in depending on the due date. -Mike
