I would have to agree with flyfishing99, If a fly only held up for a fish I would be fine with that. I enjoy fishing and I enjoy tying so its sort of like a win win. I know that when I am out steelhheading I have at least 200 flies with me, I would gladly trade a fish for every fly in my boxes!!! Now the one thing I could understand would be pan fish fly's, those should be able to stand up to quite a few fish. I do have a question on the topic, I hear a lot of people talking about, glue or a type of head cement. Dose anyone worry about a fish smelling a chemical on your fly? I am not to worried about top water fly's but nymphs on a dead drift kind of worry me. Any input guy's?????
