  3. Hi guys, Someone asked me to tie some muddlers with dark yellow hair. He told me that the color musts look like the paint color used to make lines on the road... Does somebody know where I could get this color without dying? Thanks

  11. In my case, I prefer turkey because fibers are stronger and are not curved... What about you guys?
  12. I will submit the fly but I'm not sure it will be judged. I think that I can't participate anymore in an "amateur" category. Anyway, I'm working hard on the feather wing categories this year .

  16. This is a fly I found in the book Flies for Atlantic Salmon. I fish it but not on this hook. I tied it on a CS10/1 1/0 just to take a picture and post it as my first fly on the forum...

  20. not listed on rockymountainflies.com. may be i should email them. Trout bum, i'm looking for feathers to use instead of goose shoulders so mottled feathers will not work. Did you bleach them? Could these rare feathers be bleached then dyed mottled turkey tail? I really don't know guys... please help!
  21. Hi guys, a couple of months ago I tried to tie classic wings with white turkey tail dyed instead of the usual goose shoulder feathers and it worked pretty well. The fibers are stronger, very long and don't have bend. So I tried to find some good quality feathers on the web but still no result. Does somebody know where I could get some nice feathers?
